FEMA: Fear Environmental Management Atrocities, a multi-disciplinary art exhibition focused on climate crisis flooding, at the Icebox Project Space in Philadelphia. Artists from around the country presented their work in a gallery filled with a foot deep of water. Attendees were given boots upon entry to walk around the exhibition. Hanging overhead were large paintings of the FloodFactor maps that show the city’s neighborhoods flooded out in the next 10 -15 years.

Multi-disciplinary artist Jeff Carpenter conceived and curated the exhibition. The exhibition included 11 regional artists, whose work encompassed paintings, installation, multi-media, maps, and participatory elements.
